There are plenty of cowboys in local IT with no company, no GST and no liability insurance. We have all of these and a proven track record on the Kapiti Coast.
Frequently asked questions
We charge a minimum of 1 hour for home users — $187.50 including GST. That's structured as $125/hr labour plus a $62.50 travel and admin charge (the callout fee). If your callout runs longer than 1 hour we bill in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate ($31.25 per 15 minutes).
Business users are charged a minimum of 1 hour at $145+GST, plus a $62.50 travel and admin fee. For longer callouts or project work we'll absorb the travel fee and our hourly rate applies. After one hour we bill in 15-minute increments of $36.25+GST.
We offer bank deposit or EFTPOS. You can also pay cash or online by credit/debit/Amex card. A 3% surcharge applies for EFTPOS and is available to all clients — home and business.
We're happy to work on all technology. The only devices we don't work on are gaming computers — these often have custom BIOS settings and custom parts that take too long to investigate as part of a normal callout. Please contact us first if you have a gaming computer to avoid disappointment.
Yes. We're well versed in all mail programs such as Outlook and Apple Mail, and we know Office 365, Google Mail, IMAP, POP and SMTP. Note: for business Office 365 users on your own domain, our business rates apply.
Yes, though we recommend speaking to your EFTPOS vendor first. If they determine it's a wireless, internet or network issue we can assist. Hardware or configuration issues usually need your EFTPOS provider — please check your support agreement first to avoid two charges.
Yes we can — from DNS management to connecting your domain to email, hosting and marketing tools.
Yes. For managed workstation support we charge a monthly fee per machine, which includes a remote support agent, antivirus, ransomware protection and advanced threat protection. Get in touch for a quote.
Our normal hours are 8am–8pm Monday to Friday and 9am–3pm Saturday. On Sundays, public holidays and outside these hours we charge a 100% surcharge on our rates.
